Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Before stumbling upon this Sabah pork mee, I had avoided this area for a while because the restaurant had changed owners multiple times, and my previous experiences were quite disappointing. Today, I decided to give this new Sabah pork noodle a try—and I’m so glad I did! Tucked inside this Chinese kopitiam-style restaurant is an underrated gem. The dry pork noodles were perfectly balanced—not too salty, not too oily—and the pork was incredibly tender (extra points for that!). As for the curry puff, it was fresh and flavorful, with soft-boiled egg and chunks of potato in a rich curry filling. The only minor downside is that the portion size might be a bit small for certain diners. Overall, a fantastic find! I’ll definitely be bringing my family here next time."
"A very nice sang yuk mee from Sabah, ordered their dried yee mee sang yuk mee. The noodle itself considered cooked to al-dente, stil maintain and nice springy texture. The pork was cooked to tender and just nice for the portion."
"What u pay and what u get. Kedai kopi bah ni dont expect 5stars service. My all time fav kadai kupi."
"Had breakfast here for the first time. Food was good beyond my expectation ..."
"The koay teow soup has a clear and naturally sweet broth, lighter than the usual rich versions elsewhere. Generous with vegetables, and I even ordered an extra bowl for a healthier touch. Portion was just right, and the price was very reasonable. Simple, wholesome, and comforting meal overall."
"Very satisfied with foods especially their tenom eggs must try! The only con boss got me wrong noodle"
"Chinese restaurant offering Sabah Sang Nyuk Mee (Pork Noodle), Snacks (Fried Fu Zhuk, Dumpling, Meat Roll, etc), etc Atmosphere: 3.75 Seems like they had taken over whole corner slot nowadays so there's plenty of seats with big tables. Service: 3.5 Food: Sang Yuk Mee (Dry) 3.5 - Sauce 3.25, Soup 3.5, Meat 3.5 Have improved some over the years. The meat slices are more tender and the soup is more flavorful now. Noodle has a very strong gan Shui flavor which I'm okay with and the sauce is ok. Has options of meat slices only or include internal organs. Priced at Rm 12"
"Light broth Pork noodles taste good. Add on kidney also very good and soft, no porky smell. Service is fast and friendly. Also, easy parking and free. 06.02.20 Returned for more."
